Ida Thorell works at Hjärnkoll Jönköping County, an association that is part of a national federation with a presence in 15 different locations across Sweden. The organization is dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.

At Hjärnkoll, many of the members and speakers have lived experience of mental health challenges, and Ida is no exception. By sharing personal stories through lectures and conversations, she helps inspire hope and encourages openness.

In addition to her work at Hjärnkoll, Ida is also engaged in running the Self-Help House in Jönköping, where self-help groups provide a supportive environment for people to meet, talk, and grow together.
