Building Trust Where Systems Fall Short

Underground Råslätt is a child rights organization with nearly 20 years of experience in social development work, built around a holistic view of people and their everyday context. Its nine “Platforms for the Future” have grown from the initiatives and real needs of young people and families themselves — far beyond simply creating a place to gather.

Today, the organization supports children, youth and families from across the region and beyond, working successfully with integration, girls’ empowerment, network-building and helping young people avoid or leave criminal gang environments. Through open meeting places, trusted relationships and the Child Ombudsman model, Underground turns children’s rights into practical everyday action — while also supporting municipalities, authorities and organizations in social transformation work.
