AFTER THE SPARK
COMES THE
MOVEMENT
This is where connections turn into collaborations.
Have you sparked something through last year’s forum—an idea, a project, or a powerful conversation?
We’d love to hear how the network lives on.

1. Who are you? What background, experiences, and perspectives do you bring to DT?
I have a background in public health and have worked for many years at the intersection between quality improvement and public health initiatives. It has been a privilege to contribute to development work at local, regional, and national levels. I was, for example, the national project manager for the spread of the quality registry Senior alert, served as Director of Public Health in Jönköping County, and currently focus primarily on social sustainability and the health of older adults at the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR).
2. What echoes from the last DT conference still resonate with you? What lesson or insight from DT has left a lasting impression on you?
I found myself in an incredibly inspiring group during our team exercises and collaborative work. There was a remarkable diversity in our backgrounds, professions, and roles within the team. We quickly delved into other areas that engaged us in our free time. The realization that stood out to me was the importance of embracing the whole person’s experiences, heart, and drive.
3. How have you concretely applied these lessons in your daily life? How has DT influenced your way of working, thinking, or the collaborations you’ve formed?
We organized a follow-up “fika meeting” within our team to maintain momentum. I’ve also encountered participants in various other contexts, and we’ve been able to quickly reconnect and navigate important development areas together.
4. From echo to resonance: What is your contribution to the upcoming DT? What change do you wish to contribute? What kind of resonance do you want to create at the next DT conference?
I aim to bring energy to ensure that some of the fantastic ideas generated at DT are carried forward into action. The approaches can vary—some can be tested on a small scale, others need to be anchored, etc. But if we view DT as a kind of greenhouse, then what grows there needs to be harvested at the right time, prepared, and enjoyed together with others 😊

Listen to a disruptive conversation where host Martina Boström, fresh from making a kimono on vacation, introduces a neurologist from Boston and a user experience engineer/artist who met through… salsa dancing!
Discover how their unique perspectives led to an unexpected and humorous collaboration: “Neuro Valentine’s” cards, featuring neurology-themed jokes like “your love makes me dizzy”. Hear why they say the project “wouldn’t happen if we didn’t meet on the conference”.
Gain insight into why you should “bring yourself and bring an open mind” to future gatherings, and how the network offers a “safe place” where “togetherness” fosters disruptive thinking, creativity, and “being weird with solutions”. It’s an inspiring glimpse into how diversity and support can transform ideas into reality!
