What is this?

The Table of Disruptive Technologies is designed to make people think. It maps 100 potentially disruptive technologies – ranked by their potential for impact (Y Axis) and their time to mainstream adoption (X Axis).

    • Horizon One (green): happening now – to be integrated today.
    • Horizon Two (yellow): 10–20 years out – to be tested and explored.
    • Horizon Three (red): 20+ years ahead – to be monitored.
    • Ghost Technologies (grey): improbable, but rarely impossible.

What we will do together

During the Pre-Session, we will:

  • Start creating our own Table of Disruptive Ideas 2025, focusing on the green zone of opportunities happening right now.
  • Define five new themes that reflect the disruptive forces of today and tomorrow.
  • Lay the foundation for a living map of opportunities, challenges, and connections.

At the upcoming network gathering, we will continue this work – expanding the model into a shared resource and a network map of organizations and contact points across these emerging areas.

It’s going to be an exciting journey as we explore what AI means for us today, the incredible possibilities it unlocks for tomorrow, the crucial ethical questions this rapid advancement raises, and how you can start using it to your advantage right now.
Hans van den Brink will be our host for the session, and with his expertise as a digital strategist at Västra Götalandsregionen, we will get off to a great start and gain plenty of insights to prepare us for the upcoming global fall networking forum. Warm welcome!
